The remains of another deceased Israeli hostage were expected to be handed over to the Red Cross on Monday evening local time, the Israeli military said.
The Red Cross was on its way to a meeting point in southern Gaza where the coffin of a deceased hostage would be transferred to the organization, the Israel Defense Forces said in a statement posted on social media.
There were thought to be 16 remains of deceased hostages still in Gaza before this handover, with 12 confirmed sets of remains already transferred.
