Harry Maguire’s late goal handed Manchester United a surprise win at Anfield on Sunday that heaped more misery on a Liverpool side now on a run of four straight defeats in all competitions.
Ruben Amorim’s side took the lead on their travels through Bryan Mbeumo, the former Brentford man finding the net inside two minutes.
That lead held until the 78th minute when Cody Gakpo equalised for Arne Slot’s side, only for Maguire to strike in the final stages to snatch the three points.
