A Colombian citizen who survived a US strike on a suspected drug-smuggling submarine in the Caribbean has been repatriated with severe brain trauma. The attack was the latest in a series of US strikes targeting alleged traffickers off Venezuela’s coast, which have killed dozens and drawn international criticism.
