Hamas releases Israeli hostages in exchange for Palestinian prisoners as peace deal is signed

Hamas released all living Israeli hostages and four of those who were killed in captivity in exchange for 250 Palestinian prisoners serving life sentences and over 1,700 detainees who were arrested after the war in Gaza began and held without being charged.
